I'm moving into Havenwood of Maple Grove. The staff was very nice and caring. It's almost brand new, so it looks nice. Everything's clean and beautiful. My apartment here is about the same size as I'm getting at Havenwood. They had a nice, big dining area. There seems like quite a lot going on there, various classes and different activities. It was a busy place. I saw them in the exercise class. They were doing that. And then there was a card playing on two different occasions that we went there. We saw people playing cards. Everybody seemed happy.

Havenwood of Maple Grove was very nice. The people were very accommodating, and some of the residents I met were nice. It's clean and brand new. If you're on the second level with the system, you can stay in your apartment, and then you just pay for the services for them to come in and help you. We didn't go to memory care, that's a separate area. The facility was very nice, clean, and bright. They had washers and dryers, which is wonderful. They had just come back from a walk, so I didn't see anyone at the time playing bingo. It was in the morning. They have listed some activities that were coming up. I was there about 11:00. But they had activities for the resident, so it's very nice. They showed us an exercise room. They had an area you could sit when the weather was nice. The dining area is very nice and very open. They charge for meals. The common spaces were all clean. Everything's very nice, clean, and sanitized.

Havenwood of Maple Grove was very airy, light, white, and open compared to the other two places I went that had more darker wood. I believe they're only a year old, so they have a lot of availability. We toured both assisted living and independent. The tour guy was good. The layout was more dispersed, but they had laundry in their units. They didn't have a pool table though, which was kind of a big thing for my mother's friend.
