Emerald Crest of Minnetonka has three houses and Mom is in House 1, which is for the first stage of any type of dementia. All of the residents have some degree of memory loss, but they are still communicative. If their dementia progresses, they will be moved to House 2. House 3 is pretty much the end of life and they can stay there their whole life. They have 24-hour care and the caretakers are wonderful. The care is absolutely great. They have their own pastor that comes in every Thursday. They have programs for the mind, music therapies, and entertainment. It's all one level with only twelve residents per house. They have a shared living area and kitchen.
