Ebenezer Tower Apartments is connected to the Ebenezer Foundation, which our aunt has been familiar with. Our aunt is very connected to this community so we thought this should definitely be a stop on our quest to find her a new home. Her sister also worked at Fairview Hospital for many years, so they both know many people connected to this facility "“ since the early 1900s when Ebenezer started. We liked that Ebenezer has so many assisted living programs and services. They have condos, apartments and cooperatives to consider. They can assist with decorating or you are free to choose your own décor on your own. As our aunt is considering selling her home, it is nice to have so many options. The memory care is of particular interest to us. Our aunt was in an accident that has affected her short term memory. We do not know how her condition will change, so we are comforted in knowing that Ebenezer can accommodate whatever her needs may be. The foods offered are nutritious and delicious. The menus are designed by nutritionists from Fairview Hospital "“ so it is not surprising that they can accommodate any dietary need. The snacks are plentiful and offered regularly. In addition, residents may request food at any time. The many community services are range from counseling to health services for every type of resident need situation. The residents have access to a variety of living accommodations. Their partnership with the University of Minnesota assures an intellectually stimulating and medically advanced setting. There was a nice variety of ever-changing activities, from reading to computers, community cultural events and beyond, offered on a regular basis. The convenient location makes it possible for residents to participate in everything that the vibrant city of Minneapolis has to offer. We really liked what we saw at this facility and put it at the top of our assisted living list.
