My mother-in-law is in The Shores of Lake Phalen. She has two meals a day, she can use their exercise room, and she uses their salon when they can do that. It's beautiful, and it's very nice. I have never eaten there, she has never complained about the food, I think she's pretty happy with it. She goes to their chapel.

The Shores of Lake Phalen was a wonderful place. The staff was very friendly and wonderful. The apartment was just exactly what I would want. I liked that's it on the first floor and had its own door to the outside. Plus, the outside door led right to a beautiful garden with wildlife. I loved it there. There's a library and a place where you can cook and bake. The dining room was also great. You could go down for coffee and they even put out pastries. It's open all night, so if you got up at four in the morning and sit down there, you can. It's very nice.

I placed a deposit at the Shores of Lake Phalen, and they had availability for a studio. I saw a lot of people around in their main room and in what they call The Bistro, which is a coffee/donut area with a grand piano. I visited the exercise room and the spa, and several of the staff members greeted us. I had a really good feeling about them.

My loved one is at The Shores of Lake Phalen. They provide everything that we need. It is a nice location. It is in a beautiful spot, and everything is really nice. It is well-kept. The staff is wonderful, too. They’re doing a good job. The rooms are very nice. My loved one is in a studio apartment. They have a one-bedroom available, too. They have activities every day. They have happy hour in the evening, they play bingo, they play cards, and they have movies. There is something going on all the time. The Shores is a totally outstanding place.

I drive past The Shores to work everyday, and it's close to where I live. I felt very comfortable when I went to look at it, and it was very inviting. My father will have a private room. I liked it, and it will suit him. He will move in at the end of this month. The dining room was very spacious, very comfortable, and inviting -- just like a restaurant. What stood out was how caring the people that I talked to were. I would recommend them.
