My husband was at Villa at Osseo. He was there for three or four weeks. I'm so disappointed in them. How they treated him, was just terrible. There was a couple of staff that were OK, but some were terrible. They got terrible food, too. Medicare paid for it, and the girl that interviewed me said that it was $300 and some dollars a day. But he didn't get any care.

I did a tour of Villa at Osseo. It looked clean, and the people were very friendly. We didn't spend much time there. We talked to the staff. They were very helpful in trying to fill our needs, if we decided to use their facility.
They were very accommodating. We came unannounced, and they found time to sit down and talk with us. They shared our concerns with other staff to see about whether or not my sister should move there.
It looked very adequate. I did not really see a courtyard there; we weren't there very long. They seem to have good facilities. They do have a separate section for transitional care; I'm assuming they have the equipment and stuff back there.
The front desk area seems to have a lot of boxes and stuff cluttering it, but otherwise I didn't think it was bad. Its location was convenient for the family.
It's right off the main strip, so it is by the businesses. The hospital is probably a few miles away to North Memorial. I live in a 55+ community, and I know that all the residents that go to the hospital, go to the Villa as a transition before they come back to their apartments.

My mom was in The Villa at Osseo. It was good, but she had a few complaints. She wasn't very happy with the food. Also, the nighttime help aides that came in were inexperienced and they weren't in any type of uniform. The young girl wore a hooded sweatshirt with her hoodie up. My mom has macular degeneration, and so at night when she called for help to go to the bathroom, this young girl came in and my mother couldn't see her, and it scared her to death. We complained about it. The therapy itself was excellent though. They have been coming to my mom's house for follow-ups and they're very good with her. My mom was in a private room. There were actually two available at that time, and they gave me my choice, which I was happy with because the one room overlooked a garden; I liked that. They have their own private dining area separate from the nursing home. There was a living room, which was very nice. Often times when people would visit, that's where we would go sit. They had a fireplace, and there were puzzles or books for any children or grandchildren that were there. It was a nice spot.

I didn't think The Villa at Osseo was very good. I didn't like the size of the rooms, and there were not many choices. It all seemed like a hospital, and it wasn't very homey. They had activities on the calendar, but when I was there, there wasn't anything going on. They should have more private rooms.

I moved my sister in because she had Alzheimer's. The staff were extremely friendly. Her room was very clean and descent.
