My mother-in-law is in Heritage Place. We chose it for the friendliness and the people there. We liked the size of the room. It's well kept, just exactly what we needed, and the cost was a big factor. They have an activity room, they have coffee, they play bingo, they bring in food occasionally, and connect with the senior center in Rogers for other activities.

Referencing the Corporate Management Company (Bigos) and how they did NOT adhere to or enforce the lease agreement for ALL ::: A MN Government Agency suggested that a mediation company (out of Crystal) come in and speak on the subject of Diversity and Challenges As We Age - On Senior Gossiping and Rumors (as I was a victim of said verbal attacks). Bigos "Refused & Denied" the Mediation Company from doing so. She would not lend “ME” (the Victim) ANY assistance in resolving the bully behaviors of others - that which I was forced to endure beginning my 2nd day of residence - the Mn Government was informed and made aware of the decision that Bigos had made. I “Factually” reported the attacks/behaviors to the on-site manager “Immediately” - That Very First Week - and Absolutely Nothing was done to address the Bullying /Rumors/Gossip. Nothing‼️ A Bigos employee “admitted” that they had told a resident that she could leave her Dog's Feces out back by the patio from October through May (7 months of Dog Feces decomposing right below my unit windows - A "Health Code Violation"). My Brand New Juke was damaged “Intentionally” in the underground parking area (a police report was filed - there is not enough camera surveillance installed in the building). Security is highly questionable.

Heritage Place was strictly independent -- no assisted in this place -- and there are no meals. They got a little exercise room and a room to bring your family in if you want to use it. The apartments were very nice, but I wanted more amenities than that.

Heritage was a nice place, but they didn’t have all the other options that we were looking for, such as being able to stay in your apartment and get assisted living without having to move. It was more intended for independent living. The room wasn’t that big. They had a couple of little community areas and common rooms. The staff was nice and helpful and took the time to show us around, but we did not get to see the apartments because they were all full.
