My father was a resident of Hartford Village in Detroit. First of all, I loved it. Second of all, it's a very nice facility. It's gated, and they also have security; there is somebody there, always. The seniors are very friendly. The living arrangements, they have their own washer and dryer, and the patio is very nice. They have cottages, it's a well-kept community. It's a brand-new community in the inner city. It's not far from home, maybe five minutes from me, because I live in Detroit. It's a very nice community, I would recommend it to anybody. They had some nice activities. There was no food; you have to cook your own food. It's A little expensive. It could have been better, could have been a little cheaper. A two-bedroom, two bath handicap room was $1,500, water, cable included, WiFi included, and you have your own washer and dryer.
