the treatment of patients is horrible at best. phones are not answered and messages are either never returned or "the mailbox is full" are common, I have been trying to move my father to a different location for over a week and they for whatever reason don't fax the needed paperwork to the new center. I call the other night and when the nurse heard my name, she hung up on my and refused to answer the phone again. I haven't been able to contact my father for over a week.

My mom had been a resident for the last 7 years. Of course there is no perfect situation for our loved ones but I would recommend this facility to anyone. The staff is caring and the home is clean. The facility is older and has been through some recent updates - any issues have been handled with great care and concern for my mom and her family.

She was at Sanctuary at the Abbey. The place was very good and clean. They had good, very caring staff. They have hospice people come in. They were recommended by the hospital.

This facility is dated in decor but is clean. The administrative staff really cares about their patients and does what they can but I believe they are seriously understaffed to be effective. The memory care wing is by far the saddest. One broken down tv in a room shared by two people and neither can even see it if if they wanted to. Many times I walked out to the hallway and nursing station to find not a soul around to obtain assistance. I believe this facility could be a good one if there was more supervision of the staff. Trinity needs to break open their wallet and hire/spend.

I have a relative in this facility who went there from the hospital for rehab and was never able to leave... This appears to be a clean facility and most of the personnel were kind and friendly, HOWEVER, they HEAVILY drug the elderly and most families don't check up on them so they don't know.. They keep people almost asleep all day if they have the LEAST bit of dementia.

Sanctuary at the Abbey was the first nursing home my sister went into for rehab. She stayed there for two weeks. She had a nice big room. However, this facility didn't do a lot of rehab for my sister. The staff just had her walked around. What got me upset is that my sister got diarrhea from this place and she came out there sicker than she was when she went in.
