Park Place -- A Signature American House -- is very, very luxurious compared to most that we saw. It has an excellent atmosphere and a lot of extras that most people don't have. My sister's apartment is right off their indoor atrium, which has an indoor fish pond and live plants. She has double doors that go right out to the atrium, so it's a very, very lovely setting. It has a friendly atmosphere, not only because of the staff, but also the residents that she's encountered. The staff particularly is very friendly and hospitable too. They also have laundry services.

Park Place is unbelievably beautiful, and the people are attentive. We loved the people when we signed all the paperwork, and we've loved everyone we've met so far. The nursing staff is unbelievable. My mom pulls the cord and they come right away, and they come every two hours. I spent the night there and I had to go to her house just for an hour to do something. When I came back, the nurse was still sitting there. I'm real impressed. The right side is independent living, the left side is assisted living, but they said, "Once you move in here, you'll never move out of your apartment. Everything we can do on the assisted side, we will come to your house and do." We moved mom into the independent living, but with full nursing help. They don't have a hospital section. The other side have 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments, but the staff does more. The food is way better than where she's been. Because of the pandemic, everyone eats inside in their rooms, but their dining room is spectacular and has 25-foot ceilings. Her room has 10-foot ceilings, and it makes her place feel so much grander. There are so many amenities there for her, and there's a variety of food. We chose it because of the location, and they brought the value down because of the pandemic.

My parents moved into Park Place. It's fine for my mother, but a little scary for my father because he's got dementia. The staff has been extremely accommodating, very helpful, and available to assist us with moving them in. They are together in a very spacious two-bedroom, two bath apartment. They have a balcony, in-unit washer and dryer, and a huge kitchen. They have a library and a concourse where they have a tiki bar, an in-house movie theater, shuttle services, outings, bi-weekly summertime barbecues, and outings. It's an overall wonderful facility. It's very large, so it's kind of confusing for elderly folks, and it can be a whole lot of walking. The residents seem very happy and seem to enjoy the activities in there.

I love Park Place, but it was big. It was two storeys, and I was trying to stick to a one-storey place for my mother. It was just beautiful. It made you feel like you're on vacation. I like their dining setup. When you walk in, you see all the tables, and everyone was friendly. They had a lot of activities -- indoors and bus trips -- and they had a theater inside. I just wish it was cheaper.

His sister and I went to Park Place. The people that I've talked to over the phone were all very caring people, but because of some discrepancies going on, they were not able to accept my friend there. We saw one apartment, and it was very spacious, clean, and nice. They serve food if you want to.

The Park Place was nice and elegant, but it was too big. My mother was afraid of getting lost because of all the different hallways. They had two different areas. They had the independent living and assisted living. The doorways in the independent section were regular. They were not wider to accommodate a walker or a wheelchair.

My grandfather has been a resident of Park Place for over a year. I have visited him there, as have many of our other relatives. It's a very nice place and my grandfather's quite happy there. The assisted living program is perfect for him right now. He can come and go as he pleases though he's encouraged to sign in and out but has the benefits of things like med management, regularly scheduled activities, shuttle to the nearby shopping center, and so forth. The facilities are really well set up. I particularly loved the in-house movie theater/screening room, and the courtyard with a koi fish pond and a tiki bar. He has a one-bedroom apartment that's spacious and bright. It's cleaned once a week by the staff. The sheets and towels are done by the staff once a week, as well. The residents do their own laundry in a (no-cost) laundry room; there's a laundry room on each floor.Everyone I met there from the front desk receptionist, to the cleaning staff, to the beauty/barber shop attendants were kind, smiling, and patient. A good place.
