About This Community

Modern Living Assisted Living for Seniors is an affordable assisted living option for those 65 and older who would benefit from a safe environment where they can receive the best care, healthy meals and socialization.

At Modern Living, we go above and beyond for our residents. We truly care. Our residents receive daily assistance with their ADLs, if needed. Our staff monitors residents closely to watch for changes and to ensure we are responding to needs appropriately. No resident will go without the necessities they need to live and thrive.

We offer engaging events and activities. Once per month, we welcome live entertainment into our building. Exercise and fitness classes are available. On Fridays, we play Bingo. During the warmer months, we go on outings and plan outdoor activities such as trips to Frankenmuth, visiting apple orchards and more.

Our residents enjoy healthy, delicious meals three times per day. Substitutions available for those needing special diets.

We love seniors and consider it a privilege to care for our residents and be a part of their lives.

I liked the care of Dawn Center. I felt we were a little bit misled on a couple of items, but it’s OK. I liked the staff; they were pretty good. One of my biggest disappointments is that they don’t have enough activities for the elderly. They have music and exercise. Everything is nice and clean. The dining room is one big main room. The rooms are concise, and they have their own bathroom and closets. They can bring in things from home to make things comfortable.

The house is clean and very home like. My mother was there and , unfortunately had to leave because of illness. For the short time she was there, I say the care was good . The people seem kind and caring . They have private rooms with bathrooms. Much nicer than most places. Id recommend this place and their sister place called Marys Senior Center

It was affordable. It was small, home-like family atmosphere. They have 20 beds and they have their own room and a bathroom. It looks very nice and everything. In the daytime they activities and things like that but it's just looks better than it was. My mother need more care or she should have been sent to the hospital. I feel that she did not receive much care as she is supposed to. She was only there a week and the next thing I know they had their doctor or somebody come in and give her more water pills and her doctor came and sent her to the hospital. They said that if she waited a day later they would have found her dead. My mom is still in the hospital and waiting for the doctor's prognosis and she exactly what would be suitable for her at this point both physically and mentally.
