I toured Landings of Genesee Valley, and I liked the layout of it. It was smaller and very personable. I showed up without an appointment. The director immediately took me on a tour and was just great. They had some really nice commons areas. They also had a schedule of activities and a therapy room right there in the building. The décor in the rooms looked like they had been recently updated. They looked really nice.

When I visited this facility, the staff was extremely welcoming. The residents were happily interacting at a social hour. I had a very welcoming, warm feeling while visiting the Landings.

We visited and they were real nice and they've been checking back with me every month to see how mom's doing. It's a low-key place. They have activities. The staff member showed me a room and it was alright. The staff and the facilities were really nice.

We visited and they gave us lunch, but I didn't like their dining room. It was little and dark. They had a beauty salon, a game room, the rooms were nice, but distance was a problem.

I'm living in here. I like that I have a big room and a private bathroom. I have a lot of my own furniture here, and a place for my coffee pot. We do bingo, arts and crafts, and sometimes bake. We also have a coloring class where we color with pencils twice a weeks. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I can take the bus places. Because I'm in a wheelchair and I'm paralyzed from the waist down, I have to have a specialized bus take me. The staff members are very good about helping me with everything. They serve three meals a day, and the food is good.

We looked here for my mother. It was a nice location, but my mother was not pleased with the apartment they had available. There was nothing wrong with it; she just didn’t like it. It was very nice, and I saw nothing wrong with the location. It just wasn’t the apartment that my mom wanted. The staff members we met were pleasant. They were nice. We only met with a couple of office staff, and a couple of staff working in the area.

The staff is very good, very caring, and very nice to my mother. The food is very good. She is very happy there. They took her to the Pumpkin Patch, they take her to the casino about once a month, they have bingo, and several different activities.
