About This Community

New Haven is located in New Haven, Michigan. We are an assisted living community that offers homes for senior citizens to live with a little help. We offer many services including meals, laundry help, transportation, medical care, and daily dressing and bathing. We have residents that come to us from many areas around Armada. Our pricing is set up to include all daily needs including meals and snacks. Our staff is expertly trained in CPR, first aid, medications, and Alzheimer's care just to name a few of our qualifications. We treat your family like one of our own because they are. We offer transportation to senior outings in our privately owned vans that are handicap accessible. Trips to the movies, shopping, sightseeing, and dining out are activities that we plan with our residents so they really feel at home.

New Haven has alarms on every unit assuring that people do not wander away. We offer dietary meals that meet medical needs and access to 24 hour nursing care when needed. Our staff is trained to understand the needs of senior citizens with different health care needs and is prepared for any emergency.

Appalled too

The only reason I put one star is because it would not let me put 0. DO NOT put your loved one in this place! I can't believe that they are even open. They have bed bugs ALL THE TIME, the whole place is in disrepair, it is dirty, they don't cut the grass on a regular basis, I could go on and on. It is a dangerous situation to put someone into. The only plus is that the staff are all very kind and they cook good meals. They spend their own money to bring things in for the people. They only have one person taking care of 20 people most times. The owner should be ashamed of himself pays these good people min. wages for all that they do.

This place is terrible. They have bed bugs! The owner had the "staff" spraying alcohol to get ridnof them because he didnt want to pay a proper exterminator. This robbed me and my family of a year that we couldnt visit my grandma or take her anywhere. I donated massive amounts of toiletries and food onky to have good and clothing items stolen from my grandma. Everytime I would visit or my mom would droo things off for my grandma she was dirty, her clothes were dirty and she was miserable. Somehow, my grandma was even able to escape and made her way down the street to tell neighbors to call the police (she had dementia). This place is trash. I strongly advise against sending any of your loved ones here. Complaints have already filed with the state.
