My 90 year old father was very hesitant and anxious to leave his home of 30 years and move to an Assisted Living Facility. I am grateful to the management and staff for making his transition as easy as possible. It's all about the residents at Plymouth Inn! The facility is clean. The food is tasty and plentiful. The effort to build relationships with residents, staff and resident families is amazing. We are among friends, Above all, my dad is safe, well cared for, and happy.

We went to Plymouth Inn and Assisted Living. Although it was less expensive, I found it to be depressing because it seemed darker and more like a nursing home setting. It had a darker interior that was not bright or cheery. There was little activity going on, although they had an activity room. We didn’t really see much going on compared to other places where there were activities going on. We saw people in their rooms, sitting in chairs or wheelchairs, or laying on sofas. It wasn’t a very cheery atmosphere. The director didn’t seem very enthusiastic, which was discouraging. They had an activity room, but when we went there, there was really nothing going on. They also had a dining room, and again, when we went there, there weren’t a lot of windows so it seemed rather drab and depressing. We weren’t thrilled about it. I know it was less expensive but it didn’t seem like their activity would encourage my friend to do things. It would encourage her more to sit in her room and not have any association with anyone, which I think someone with dementia needs.

Deserves 5 star rating. Caring and knowledgeable staff give good care and residents are treated kindly and respectfully. Many activities to keep residents occupied, focused on their interests and abilities. Meals are very tasty. Premises are immaculate. Many residents, including my family member, have limited mobility and energy, and staff focuses on meeting their needs.

My father resided in this facility the last year of his life. Our experience with this facility was a wonderful one. They were so attentive to my father's needs. You could tell they truly cared for their residents. They took the time to get to know him and us and our needs and tried to fulfil them when they were not their normal procedures. I can't say enough about our experience at Plymouth Inn and how caring the staff is.
