About This Community
Marycrest first opened in Detroit in 1947 and moved to its current site in Livonia in 1960. We are a not-for-profit community that has a long tradition of quality, mission-oriented service for our residents. We offer an intimate assisted living community of 24 all-inclusive apartment homes called Newburgh Manor. Our independent living is called Marycrest Heights, and is ala carte, allowing residents to tailor their services for what works for their individual lifestyles. In 2023, we will be opening new independent apartment homes with an all-inclusive, entrance fee plan, which will be called Marycrest Heights. We offer a holistic approach to senior living. Delicious and healthy meals are served at our restaurant, The Lakes, and we have a fitness center, pool, and outpatient rehab to help care for the body. We provide programming based on the interests and desires of our residents to care for the mind. Our chapel, friendships, and spiritual opportunities are here to help nourish the soul.
