Heartland Health Care Center was nice, clean, and spacious. It didn't smell like old people. The person who assisted me was knowledgeable and nice. The dining area looked OK. What turned me off was that they didn't have private rooms.

I liked the location of Heartland as it was close to me. The rooms were decent -- not too big, not small either. They play cards and games. They have church and sing-alongs. The staff were very friendly, but a lot of the time, they are understaffed.

I thought the facility and the staff were great, very compassionate, caring and extremely helpful. Food wasn't the greatest.
