Rooms are snall and shared. Staff is rude. The manager is uncaring she dresses up. She does no resident care. The house is disorganized. Wheelchairs in living room. The place is not cared for needs repairs. Very little interaction with the residents. The food is terrible. Most food comes from food banks. Would never recommend it to anyone.

Terrible food and small portions . I have witnessed staff yelling at residents and making them go to their rooms . I have seen staff take away their personal belongings as punishment . The home is dirty and needed repairs are never done . Recently they were without water for a few weeks and did not have the well fixed until a family member reported them to the Health Department , prior to that there have been several times the washer and dish washer did not work for weeks on end . This is a horrible place and i am so very happy my family member has finally been moved to a much better home .

Brookhaven AFC is the facility of choice for my parents, My mother was cared for there before her passing and presently my father resides there. The staff have become like family. They serve nutritious meals and provide regular enrichment for the residents. The home staff truly care for each resident which is what is supposed to be the purpose of an AFC home. The humble residence is a calm friendly setting for the aged.

There was a group home that I visited called Brookhaven AFC Home. It was a horrible place. It was terrible. They didn't take care of the outside. The driveway was just a gravel driveway full of potholes. There were cats and dogs running around there, and it was overcrowded. They had tiny rooms, with two people in a room. It wasn't clean on the inside too. The staff didn't look professional at all. Nothing impressed me.
