Our apartment in the newer wing is bright and spacious with a great view of the courtyard and pond. From servers to to administrative staff, they are professional, accommodating, and friendly. Food is excellent, and we have a choice of four dining venues, each with its own menu and interesting daily specials. Activities are varied and frequent. Residents are friendly and care about each other. Swimming pool and exercise classes are available and fun and appropriate for several levels of fitness. A new bridge connects independent living with the full range of care on the campus. Spouses with loved ones in memory care or skilled nursing have easy access to them.
After living here for 2 1/2 years, I can't imagine being alone in a house again.

Our tour at Beacon Hill Eastgate was very tiring because they have so much to show you. There are things there that are beautiful, but we'd never use it. They have a bistro and were serving pizza. They have guest rooms for people who are visiting their relatives there. The price is pretty expensive. They have movie theaters, and a library and so on. They made sure you saw everything, and they show you every model. One thing that put me off was a 2-year waiting list now. The rooms are all apartment type. They have more activities than other places we went to, and they've got an unbelievable exercise and wellness facility.

I am not really happy about the size of the rooms at Beacon Hill; it will be just one room with a kitchen with no stove, and the bathroom has no shower. The dining area was noisy, but they can play domino, tennis, and Wii bowling.

Best I have seen.

Beacon Hill at Eastgate was very formal, very elegant, and expensive. The room was plenty spacious, and the food was very good, but I felt like you had to get dressed up all the time. The community was beautiful and new but very expensive.

Beacon Hill at Eastgate is a very, very nice facility. My sister has a very large and very nice apartment. The food there is excellent. It's really beautiful. It has lovely grounds and it's in a very nice part of town. I would say it's a very high class facility.
