My parents moved into The Avalon of Bloomfield Township. The facility looked well-maintained and clean and new. The staff were very helpful in helping us understand what all would be involved. And frankly, once we decided to go with them, they were very helpful in helping with the transition and the move. So they were very helpful in that regard. The room is large, they're in a two-bedroom. The bathroom is large with a shower that you can wheel into in the wheelchair. That's very beneficial to the seniors. I did not have a meal there myself, but the meals for my parents had certainly looked to be good quality food, well-prepared. And it appeared to be a step up from the place they were before. There seem to be quite a few activities. They've got their small movie place. They've got a chapel, a salon, an exercise room, and a crafts room. They've got several amenities that are on-site there. The staff were all very helpful and answered all the questions we had. They're primarily available when needed by other people, but they made themselves available, which was good.
