I spent 2 months recuperating at Sunrise of Bloomfield. They have in house therapy services that helped me get back home. The staff was great. I would highly recommend them.

My dad was in a Nursing Home and we were not happy with the care that he was receiving. After he was hospitalized and we were told he would need to go on hospice, we were recommended by St. Joseph Mercy Oakland to look at Sunrise. The moment my family spoke to Linda we knew my dad would be in great hands. Linda asked us for some information and to fill out a few forms online. She took care of the rest and my dad was transferred to Sunrise within 24 hours and all the equipment he needed was there waiting for him. We are forever grateful to the Sunrise team for the love and care they showed to my dad and our family. God Bless you all.

Sunrise of Bloomfield is a beautiful place. They seem to have everything. They have whatever kind of care your loved one needs, whether the basics or all the way up to the most. They seem to be able to do that there. I would love to have a loved one in there, but it was just way too expensive for my mom. It was a pricing issue. It was a quick tour. Because of COVID and everything, people kind of want you in and out. I kind of went to certain spots of the place, and that was it. They could accommodate any level of care that your loved one needed. They have a personal chef. She went through the menu with me, and it looked very wonderful.
The care seems to be there. It seems like there's always something going on. If your loved one needs any type of occupational therapy or physical therapy, they have it. It is like a one-stop place to have everything done to your loved one. It's almost like a fancy hotel. It was very nice and very clean. They have a lot there for even the littlest things. In their private rooms, they had a pull cord by the bed in case someone needs something. They can easily get to someone when needed.

My grandmother was at the Sunrise community for 5 years. they offered her 5 happy years. She was able to make new friends, go on outings and enjoy her independence with the support of their great staff. The staff loved us like family

My visit with Sunrise of Bloomfield was fine. The atmosphere was great. It was a lovely place. Everybody was nice, and the residents seemed fine. Everything looked great, and there were locks on the doors. The rooms were not too big and not too small. Everything looked fine, and everyone looked happy.

Sunrise of Bloomfield is very quiet, very clean with a very peaceful atmosphere. Their private rooms are large -- more than 400 square feet. They serve two meals a day, which can be served in your room at additional cost. The dining-room area is small. Actually, the whole facility is small -- only probably around 20 residents. Pricewise, it is on the high end.

The Sunrise ones were great. I thought the management staff was fine. My mom is in the one at Bloomfield right now. There are a few things that are lacking. The direct attendant care is not that great. It could be better, and I've spoken with the management about that. But other than that, it is a very nice facility, and everybody is very helpful. There is not real great follow through in some of the issues I've had, but we are working through them, slowly but surely.

I liked Sunrise and the service that they render. The rooms were smaller than what we’re looking for. We’re pleased with the cleanliness, and it has a home-like environment. They have different rooms where you can sit and talk. The staff addressed the questions that we had, and we were pleased with the hospitality rendered. All the residents were able to go on trips, even those in wheelchairs; they have vans available and ample staff to help them.
