Vista Grande Villa in Jackson is much more reasonable in price. They have a store where if you run out of something that they don't provide for you, you can go there and buy. I was looking for independent living during the tour. They have restaurants. If you don't want to go in the dining room, you can go and get a sandwich, tacos, or anything there.

My brother moved into Vista Grande Villa. It has several buildings, it seems to be very well laid out, its very large, and a long way for him to walk, but other than that, he seems to like it there. The staff seem okay, they dont tell him a lot of things, but theres an appointed person that helps him with questions, so hes getting along okay.The dining area is pleasant and he seems to like the food. They publish the menu ahead of time, now he knows what to eat, and it seems to be adequate and food is good. He plays card, Bingo, and they have day trips to different cities to do things.
