My sister was at Caretel Inns of Brighton for rehab. It was after surgery. She was there for two weeks. She went to physical therapy every day, and they helped her get back on her feet. I visited the place while she was there. She seemed to be happy there, and she seemed to be pleased with the care she got. It was clean, and it seemed fine. I know that they have permanent senior citizen apartments on the lower level. My sister said she had been down there, and she said they were very pretty and very lovely. They're quite expensive, but they are very nice. The staff was very pleasant and very helpful. The first time I went there, I had a hard time finding my way around because it's kind of a big circle; it is kind of complicated. Other than that, they helped me. It's fine. It's clean, and it's nicely decorated. It's all on one floor, and it's nice. My sister said food was OK. It wasn't bad, but she would rather be home. She complained a lot that she wants to go home and do her own cooking in her own home, which is all normal.

Aides never come when called. Patient is left in wheelchair for entire day. Called twice in one day to talk to a nurse due to relatives sudden and severe confusion after talking to them on phone and no one called back. Called again in evening and phone just rings and rings. I would NOT recommend sending a loved one her unless they are able to take care of themselves.

I found this to be a reasonably good care facility. The Staff were friendly, respectful, and generally responsive to my needs. Of course, this varied somewhat from day to day, but, overall, I thought they did a pretty good job. I was there for about eight weeks recovering from a crushed ankle and subsequent corrective pinning and surgeries. I did think the Nurses were understaffed during night shifts, but they always did the best they could. The Physical Therapy Staff was very competent and thorough. Overall, I would give this Facility a good B-plus. Thank you.

I would not recommend this facility at all they are always short staffed if your loved one does not get cared for they blame the patient instead of taking responsibility, the staff will not look you in the face and are not friendly as if they are guilty of doing wrong and covering up something, scabies are all over in there and the state denies it, my loved one got scabies twice in there and they are highly contagious

We picked Caretel Inns Of Brighton because they would let me stay with my husband overnight; he could not be left alone. They were the only place that would let me stay over night. They have activities, physical therapy, occupational, and speech. It’s a subacute facility, so there’s a physician who is on-staff who sees the patients, orders medications, and does lab studies. They have transportation. They provide 3 meals.
