I am delighted to tell you about the benefits of our in-home, private duty personalized living assistance services. We offer personalized, non-medical care including temporary or long term, hourly or live-in (24 Hour Care) assistance. We are privately owned (not a franchise), and have been in business since July 1, 2005, serving the State of Michigan. We care for those who need companionship and assistance due to ‘old age,’ as well as to those who suffer from illnesses such as Alzheimer’s, Dementia, MS, Cancer, Parkinson’s and more.

We offer a full range of senior daily living services, from simple companionship to personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming. We can provide safe transfers from bed to wheelchair and to the commode, as well as professional and dignified incontinence care. We will follow guidance from family or qualified personnel to address special dietary needs and prepare nutritious meals. We also provide medication reminders, support, and help with exercises, as needed. Our caregivers are happy to shop and run basic errands such as driving to the barber/beauty shop, picking up groceries, keeping a medical appointment, or to any other local destinations. Light housekeeping chores can be performed such as cleaning the kitchen, bathroom and changing sheets, washing and folding laundry, as well as vacuuming, and dusting.

Angels at Home Care is a member of the Michigan Home Health Association, the Better Business Bureau, and the Home Care Association of America. We are an approved vendor of the Ann Arbor VA, Detroit VA, and Saginaw VA Hospitals for Home Health Aide care. Our carefully screened caregivers are trusted employees who are bonded and protected by workman’s compensation insurance. Our employees are people you can trust, whose skills you will value and whose company you will enjoy. Caregivers must have at least one year of care giving experience and undergo an interview with our Human Resources personnel and twice with the Care Coordinators and owner. Their work history and personal information is verified and references contacted. If the caregiver passes HR screening, they are then interviewed by an Owner and Care Coordinator(s).

Caregivers must pass an extensive National background check, which searches for criminal activity, motor vehicle records, and sexual misconduct. We supervise caregivers closely, welcome feedback from families, and will check in with you often to make sure we are meeting expectations.

Angels at Home Care uses a state-of- the-art timekeeping system that eliminates the hassles and inaccuracies of paper time sheets. Caregivers Log-In through our GPS System. The Home Health Aides must answer No to all Covid questions following Center of Disease Control protocol. The System will not allow the Aide to Log In if there is a Yes response to any of the Covid questions. Our system provides peace of mind and accountability.

Angels at Home Care answers the phone 24 hours a day with an Owner or Care Coordinator. We think of ourselves as, ‘ONE FAMILY CARING FOR OTHER FAMILIES.’ This means you will always reach a live person around the clock even on holidays. It’s rare someone can’t reach us on the first call; yet should we be speaking with someone else at that time, rest assured we will return your call shortly!
