I saw independent and assisted living at Rivertown Ridge. It's new. The apartments were beautiful and up-to-date, had beautiful finishes, and a large kitchen. It was a nice facility. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They offer transportation to local stores and things like that. They don't have as many onsite amenities as some of the other places we looked at though.

Rivertown Ridge was a nice place, but I'm not into the position where I need to be looked after. It really wouldn't do me any good to be there. I'm pretty active myself. It was a very clean place, and the staff was very friendly. It's a good layout. They got assisted living on one side, and they have your independent living on the other.

We chose Rivertown Ridge for my brother. It was all enclosed, everything was indoors, and in close proximity. It's a new place. I went over and visited, and the apartments were very nice. It's a pretty large facility, the right hand side they had the assisted living, separate from the independent living, and the section that joins the two apartment complexes is the lobby area, there's two different restaurants, there is a theater there, there's an exercise room, there are community activity rooms, lots of places to meet with people and socialize. It thought that would be great for my brother instead of being isolated somewhere. I would give them a five for the way they got back to me, the interaction with me, and the accommodation of my brother coming in from New Jersey. Everyone on the staff is very gracious, accommodating, and when I first went in there and went to the reception desk, at least five different people introduced themselves to me. It was a different experience than what I had in other places.

In July of 2019 when my husband and I decided to move back to the Midwest to be near our adult children, I began searching the internet. Rivertown Ridge immediately caught my eye, so I contacted the sales office. Meredith was very kind, patient, and helpful in answering my many questions. In August, we sent in a deposit. One of the best decisions we’ve ever made. Unfortunately, my husband passed away while we were still in Florida, but the genuinely friendly staff at Rivertown Ridge made the move an easier adjustment for me. My apartment, the dining rooms, and common areas are wonderful! There’s a variety of activities, but no one feels pressured to participate. The location is ideal with shopping, hospitals, doctors, and restaurants nearby. I’ve made several new friends here and am so happy to be a resident at Rivertown Ridge.

Rivertown Ridge is a really nice place. They have their own laundry in every room, and they do housekeeping and linens biweekly. They have activities in different parts of the facility. The staff was awesome and did a really thorough job. The rooms are beautiful. Even the assisted living is really awesome. It's open and you have a view in the back or you can have a traffic view in the front. We really liked it. The apartments for independent and the assisted living are mixed together, and the memory care is on the second floor, but it's all in one building. They have a pub where you could get your breakfast or your lunch and a fine dining room for meals at night. Meals are included in the rent.
