The staff at Heartland is changing at the moment. On weekends, not too much gets done because of the different crew. They don't know the patients and they don't spend as much time with them. Also, one of my mom's hearing aids doesn't work now. The administrator said there are audiologists coming in, but nobody has seen my mom and fixed her hearing aid. I called the administrator again last Monday and he hasn't gotten back to me yet. I'm not sure how they choose roommates. I don't know her roommate's condition but that person is very rude towards my mom. She says she hates my mom and wants her to move out of the room. It's very unsettling. It's hard for me to listen to these things when I'm so far away. Despite everything, my mother says the food is very good.

Overall the facility wasn't bad, of course nothing is like home but the care provided was good. My grand father could not go home so the care that was provided to him was very good. The staff worked hard to take care of him and provided the best possible care to him. They also worked very hard to physiclly rehabilte him.
