Our Life Enrichment Director creates a robust calendar of social, cultural and recreational events for our residents to enjoy in our activity room.

Baldwin House Grand Rapids residents can choose between one- or two-bedroom floor plans, each with a full kitchen, and enjoy a maintenance-free lifestyle with access to beautiful common areas and chef-prepared meals.

Our residents can live independently in their own apartments, yet receive various levels of assistance as needed. Whether they need assistance with meals, medication, daily living tasks or other medical services, they can access through our third-party home health care company onsite.

We chose Grand Rapids for our father because of its location and amenities. The staff are very helpful and very open. My father seems to be happy and likes the food. He is not doing any activities right now. The facility seems easy to maneuver in, and the apartment is very nice. The building is beautiful, and they have done a good job. The place is clean and well kept. We chose the place because of location. We all live in the south end of town. He lives in the north end, so we needed to get him closer to us. We saw the place, and it met our criteria. It is close to a hospital.

My mother is at the independent living here. The food is excellent and the staff is incredible, that's what makes the place so good. Everybody wants to be there. It's not just a job, everybody that we met has just been first class. They go way out of their way. They have an in-house activities director and she's there five days a week. When you first become a resident the life enrichment director has you fill out a form on what your hobbies are, or likes, and they cater to your likes. For example, if they're doing art class and you don't like art, they won't try to include you. But if they're doing music and you like music, they'll try to make sure that you sign up for it or they go and ask you. They're incredible, the whole team is just incredible. It's one of the cleanest facilities we've looked at, that's why we went with them. My wife is a professional cleaner so she notices these things that other people don't, and this place is super clean. From the other place we've toured, they're the best price, and biggest bang for the buck.
