We visited most of the similar facilities in this county, and this one was the most spacious and seemed to have the most activities going on. My mother raves about the food, and often talks about the staff showing her warmth and love. The staff notifies me of any issues that my mom experiences.

When it became apparent that our mother could no longer care for herself, Woodlawn was our first choice. Both my sister and I live hundreds of miles away and we decided it would be best for mother to remain in her home town close to her social network and church. The staff has given mother wonderful care. They are keep track of her health and take action when needed. Now mother enjoys good health and is physically and socially active. Mom always says the people are so nice and the food is good. We feel confident that our mother is in the best place possible.

My dad enjoys the activities Tyler offers, especially when his longtime friends are involved. The care staff is very respectful, kind, and attentive.

My sister & I first visited Woodlawn Meadows with our mother as part of our quest to find her a place to live if/when the need arose. Evelyn was our “tour guide” and knew what to tell us even before we asked! Afterward she asked Mom what she saw that she thought would be helpful for her. Mom’s answers were helpful in deciding what level of care and services would be most beneficial when the time came, which turned out to be sooner than my sister & I realized. Mom chose Woodlawn Meadows over other facilities we had seen. We are very happy with her choice. The staff does a great job of determining what her needs are, the medical staff is excellent, and Mom has gained weight & is healthier than she’s been in in quite a while. The staff communicates with my sister & me regularly, and we all seem to work together well for the betterment of our mother, who is 91.

Rooms are very clean and well kept. The staff is very kind, attentive and responsive to our needs as a family. I feel very comfortable that our loved one is safe and well cared for. Staff involve clients and families in activities and encourage participation and socializing. This is a wonderful environment.

The deluxe rooms are well laid out with plenty of storage space. There are very varied and vibrant exercise programs and the staff is creative and flexible about inviting residents to join in. The open beverage / coffee / healthy snack area is easily available and accessible. My family and I have found the staff to be cheerful and truthfully engaged with our parent and he is very comfortable with all the staff I have met.

We reviewed each room that was available prior to moving our family member. Room and bathroom are a good size and sufficient to have necessary items to make the room comfortable and safe. The caregivers truly cared about our Mom and spent a lot of time getting to know her and help her acclimate to her new home.
