My husband was at Fairview Adult Foster Care for almost a year. It's for assisted living, I don't think there is any independent living section. It's very good care, as far as that goes. It's assisted, then intermediate, then it goes right into memory care. I don't have anything negative to say about it, and they took very good care of him. He was in their memory care unit. The facility was very nice and very clean. The help there was good with him. The meals were also very good. They had a lot of activities, but he didn't partake in them because his memory was going and he didn't want to do anything. Usually, they bring in a band of some sort, a couple of times a month. They have singing and music, and anybody that wants to can dance. Of course, they have games and bingo and all the normal stuff that all of them have like activities, crafts, and movies. There's a church chapel in there too but my husband wasn't one who partakes in most of it. It's on two different levels but there was an elevator and there were balconies. They have improved and it made more sense when they had the patios and stuff too. There's nothing like shuffleboard or bocce ball or stuff like that because I don't think any of them participated. It's always been assisted living and up. I know they had an exercise class where people sit in their chairs and do exercise. They don't have all the physical activities that the other ones have because it's just not considered an independent care facility. It's assisted living and memory care so once you get to that stage, a lot of the physical stuff you can't do.

I went to Fairview Adult Foster Care last month. It was wonderful, the place was nice, the staff seemed nice. There wasn't anything I could say that was bad, just the price was not right. They had a very large birdcage with birds . They also had a very large fish tank, and they had games and exercises.

Fairview Adult Foster Care is wonderful, caring, and clean, and has people there 24 hour a day. They have singing, dancing, card games, exercise, a movie theater, and a private church.

I have chosen Fairview. I had three different families who told me that they were very pleased when their parents were there. I went to visit it twice, and it was great. They were very helpful, showed me all around, and answered every question that I had. They have all private rooms, and my aunt will have her own bathroom. They have a beauty shop and a lady that comes in who washes and shampoos their hair and sets it for them. They have a beautiful English sheepdog that everybody can hug. It’s just wonderful. It’s an old farmhouse that's all redone, so it’s just beautiful, and my aunt grew up on a farm. They have about 20 people right now, and they are building an addition, which will give them another 20 rooms.
