When I came to the villa I could not walk or do for myself and the staff help me get back on my feet and walk my arm was cut open and I could not use it and the staff also help me be able to use my arm again the staff and care was wonderful and I am happy they were able to get me back to been myself.

The facility was well kept and I felt comfortable in the building despite me being a preteen at the time. The facility made it a point to pair many of the senior citizens with volunteers who were close to their age. For this reason, the volunteers could commiserate better with the residents and had uncanny levels of patience because they had similar situations. It was nothing like the horror stories that I have heard about nursing homes through personal narratives or the media. The facility made sure that there were plenty of activities to be done and I was allowed to participate in many of them. As a person who has not had a traditional grandparent experience, it was a great environment to learn from because of the wisdom given. I could sit around and listen to various stories from seniors who would otherwise not have such an outlet to talk to daily.
