The Horizon Senior Living is nice but outdated, has been there a long time, and a little dreary. It was also more money. The staff was very nice.

My Grandfather was a resident at Horizon Senior Living where he stayed for almost a year and eventually passed away. The employees there were like family to him. They made him comfortable and happy. There were times when other residents would bother my grandpa but that was his only complaint. When we would go visit him he was always so happy as if he were at his real home. They welcomed family to come as often as they could which was nice for me because i came to visit a lot. When he got sick, they took close care of him and eventually he was put on hospice, they cam right to the assistant home to work with him up until the day he died. I can only hope that in my old age i can be put in a home as good as Horizon Senior Living and i would recommend it to anyone.

I visited the facility about 1 month ago as a firefighter doing a building inspection. the lodging well very elegant and well designed so I am Assuming the guests could appreciate that. When I arrive the guests were eating so I had the chance to see the dinning room and it was very nice and the food looked and smelled great. All of the Elderly appeared to be happy and genuinely so. The staff was well mannered and plentiful in smiles. my Tour was brief but nice. I enjoyed it.
