We have chosen Pomeroy Living Sterling Assisted Living & Memory Care. They have a studio apartment, and it's really nice. Most of the places that we toured were just one room, and this actually has a bedroom, a front room, and a kitchenette. And that's the only place I found where they had a little kitchenette with a refrigerator. It's like a living unit instead of just one room. Plus, there's a TV, and that's what we like. The staff member who gave the tour was very nice and very accommodating. They have like a combination of memory care and assisted living. We saw people sitting and eating, and it looked pretty nice. They have a room where they have machines and stuff for rehab. The staff member answered all our questions. The studio apartment and the bathrooms were very clean. The whole area was clean.

Mom is in the memory care unit. It is fantastic. The staff gives each person individual care and attention that they need. There are constant activities to keep them occupied. She was at a different facility and kept asking me to take her home. It broke my heart. Here at Pomeroy sterling hts she no longer asks to go home. They are so compassionate and management is always available to address any concerns I may have. I highly recommend it! I give food a 4 star only because mom is on a strict diet. The other food looks delicious.
