Mom was placed at Bay Shores Nursing Care Center from the hospital. They have activities such as crafts and social events. Then there's physical therapy and beauty services. They are caring people, but they're experiencing staffing difficulties right now, as is everyone in the nation.

DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. We sent my grandfather here (77y) after he had a stroke. Shortly after sending him, my grandmother visited him. She saw he had developed a blacked toe (VERY VISIBLE) and when she told the nurse about it, the nurse seemed “shocked” and said she had never seen it. The facility never brought in a doctor to see him after my grandmother brought it to the nurse’s attention. Two weeks later, he developed sepsis, a blood infection, had another stroke, and tested positive for COVID-19. He was never checked by a medical professional for any of these prior, besides when he had the test administered for COVID-19. He was rushed to the hospital two weeks ago, and died on Friday, presumably from Cepsis. Please do not send your loved ones here. He could still be alive right now.

I was a recent patient at Bay Shores Care Center. After seeing my room I was amazed on how large it was. I had a private bathroom, and was furnished like it was my bedroom at home. I was welcomed by the staff and they showed genuine care about my injury. All the staff members were kind and reassuring. The Physical and Occupational therapists were excellent. They were kind and challenged me on a daily basis to learn new things so my recovery would be easier. The meals were delicious and they served a nice varity of food. Every day had activities from Polka music to Bingo. I would highly recommed Bay Shores for anyone who would their services weather it for you or a loved one. from room 108 Hazel

I live in New York and was calling the facility daily speaking with the nursing staff and they were reporting to me that my mom was looking good and doing well but when I attempted to speak with my mom she did not recognize me and was completely disorientated. Concerned, I directed the staff to send her to Covenant Hospital in Saginaw where she was diagnosed with influenza A, pneumonia, a UTI and in final renal shut-down. I warn you to ,look at another facility for your loved one!

Nursing staff let mother in law slide into critical condition that resulted in life threatening situation and placement in ICU.

I listened to the ad on the radio for Bay Shores & it's not true in any way. I have nothing good to say. Poorly staffed, The food was overcooked/burnt. Sad that my mother had to spend her last days there, but thankfully not for long before she passed. I'd say more if I could.

This is a great place for both Rehab and long term placement. My mom rehabbed there and then decided to stay long term. The staff on all shift were wonderful and very helpful. They did not seem understaffed at all. It's a beautiful building and if there was a concern ther management was right there and listening.

Facility is poorly managed and care and staff are bare minimum. Staff is in a hurry and not attentive. Heard staff talking poorly about each other. Different caregivers many times. Not a happy place.

My mother is in Bay Shores. The building is new. It is a newer addition. It has lots of windows. The room has a bathroom, a flat screen TV, a bed, a kitchen, a huge window with window blinds, and a nightstand lamp. The staff is friendly and helpful. The services are good, but have room for improvement. They have bingo several times a week and sometimes twice a day. There is crafts, during Christmas time there was Christmas carols and Christmas parties. They have church on Sundays. On Valentine's day, there is a king and queen on each wing.
