My mom had a stroke and went to Cherrywood for rehab. Unfortunately she quickly started going down hill and was taken out of rehab. She was moved to Unit 2 and received excellent care. My mom was always clean, treated with respect and made comfortable. The staff was amazing especially Kathy and April.

I'm in Future Care Cherrywood nursing home. They took me out of rehab about a week ago. The rehab is marginal and the food is terrible, but the caregivers are pretty good. I have issues with the therapy. I'm in a shared room and it is average in size. They're all shared rooms except when you first come in when you're quarantined. They have lots of activities, and they deliver the food to your room. The price is too high for what you get.

My Wife was in Future Care Cherrywood for eleven year was bed ridden and on a feeding tube until she passed. She was given great care and never had any skin outbreaks because of the great care by the professional staff.

My aunt resides at Cherrywood Future Care Rehabilitation Center. It is a 2 story building located in Reisterstown, MD.
The staff is caring and calls to update me about my aunt's eating improvement, weight gain, and any changes regarding my aunt. She and her room are always clean and smell fresh. My questions are answered and my calls are returned. I am very pleased with Cherrywood. They have met my expectations re: my aunt who also happens to be 102 years old!!!

When i came to the facility for the first time there was this really nice young lady who escorted me form the reception area all the way to my friends room upstairs. My review may be somewhat biased based on my first impression but that's all it takes sometimes. When i came the other day they had some entertainer playing music and it was packed with residents. If it wasn't free i might have paid a few bucks to watch it was so good.

The rooms were filthy. The floors need to be mopped. We went to use the restroom and it was a mess.
The staff was NOT helpful at all. My father would hit his button needing help and it would take minimum 30 before someone would come in to see what he needed. And there was an instant while I was there when the nurse came in and just turned off the page and didn't help my father at all or stay long enough to find out what he needed. We had to go after her.
My fathers medication was not handled correctly either. He was on one dose of a certain medication...THE STAFF decided that it was too much and took him off the the medication so that he went through detox. This was NOT discussed with anyone in the family OR with his primary doctors. Or with my father himself!
The staff had my father sign papers full knowing that his eye sight isn't good enough to read that size print. And made threats if he didn't sign the paper.
We had 2 family meetings while he was staying there. And the staff would say that they were writing things done....such as they will make sure that he isn't left in his wheelchair for more then 2 hours.....but they would leave him in it for 3 or 4 hours at a time.
We were told that we would have a weeks notice before he was discharged so we could have everything ready for him at home...we got 3 days notice.
This one is minor but still important to me and my family. They moved my father from one room in the facility to another room but couldn't be bothered to move the art work that his Grandchildren made to his new room. Instead they just threw it away.
There are so many things that this place did that was counterproductive in my fathers recovery or really in is overall health.

My wife is in FutureCare Cherrrywood for rehab. They're good. We have friends who work there. They serve three meals. The staff is very professional and very caring. It's only a mile away, so I get to see her every day.
