Modena Reserve at Kensington was very nice. It was located close to restaurants, but it was just a very expensive place. The staff was very nice, and it was nice of them to refer me to something in the price range that my brother needed to be. She didn't try to push me away, she just tried to accommodate me even though she knew it was way over what we could afford.

I toured Modena Reserve at Kensington. They give housekeeping, and your rent covers utilities and TV. The staff is good.
They insist on not having lunch in the rooms, you had to go down the halls to the large dining room. It's $800 for meals for the month and you pay to park $75 a month. For the bus to take you anywhere, it has to be within ten miles. They also encourage individualized cooking.
It's not a CCRC. It has assisted living, but not medical care. I also didn't like the fact that they were for-profit and so they were more expensive.
The outdoor space is nice, big, and open.
