I was able to visit Kensington Park Senior Living, which is a great place. I like the location and it has all the amenities. My overall experience there was very good, and the staff members were excellent. We went there on a Saturday so it's not as busy, and you don't see as many people because they don't do activities on Saturdays. The staff took me to several of the independent living places and I'm interested in the 1-bedroom, they're either set up with a bath and a half, or a den. They have three meals a day, they also do trips to places like the grocery store and other places they visit. I liked that the atmosphere was great, they were very friendly, and I felt very comfortable there. Overall, it was very good and I liked the grounds. It's a nice location, it feels like a residential area, Kensington Park is right there and you can also see a part of Rock Creek. They have three completely separate buildings, one for independent, one for assisted, and one for memory care.

We visited Kensington Park for my friends. It was absolutely beautiful and wonderful with great food and wonderful people. It was a fabulous facility but a little too pricey. The dining area was very nice too. The rooms, food, and staff were very nice. We loved it all. They had a lot of activities, like going to the theater, or to movies.

My sister chose Kensington Park for my mom. The staff there seemed okay and they provide a housekeeper. What she likes about in the facility is that they do movie nights, Wii bowling, and Tai-chi. She likes that because it gives her a chance to be out amongst people that she knows. She also like the food and she has been gaining weight.
