Calvert Manor in Rising Sun brought great expectations. Their health officials take their jobs to heart and the recreational activities that the elderly are involved in create a great atmosphere to interact in. From the food that they eat to being cooked well to the clean facilities, Calvert Manor has given me a comfortable feeling about their professionalism.

This assisted living provider was a well kept and an organized facility that made sure that the patients felt like they were at home. The staff was kind and caring to the patients, and well trained. We had an older fellow that fell and they were quick to respond and give immediate care. The ambulance wasn't needed because the staff was so well trained and knew what to do and how to help the gentleman heal without causing him more expenses through a hospital or ambulance. While the staff is amazing the place itself was kept clean at all times and had small touches in each room to make sure that the patients we happy while being away from their family. I remember talking to a frail woman who reminded me of my great- grandmother. she was so happy that we visited and couldn't wait for our spring show. Her kids didn't see her that much and she loved being with younger people her kids' ages. I felt very glad to be allowed that time with her after we did our songs. The staff was great and the facility was amazing.
