Very appalled! I visit my mom every week and not a visit went by without a major humane neglect of a person! (Not to mention paying the high cost fee!) These are just a few of the neglectful treatment she received. 1. Walked in, everyone in "general population" , my mom was hanging out of her wheelchair, head almost on the ground, unconscious! Employees hanging around their desk on cell phones. Had a attitude when ask about the condition of not only my mom , but other residents also. I requested for them to call for a medic unit to take her to the hospital. They said no, until I insisted! Guess what? High fever, covid19, UTI! 2. Walked in, conjunctivitis, soiled hard diaper, trying to eat with no teeth. When trying to talk to the head nurse, she went into her office and slammed the door in my face. (Very professional and good bedside manner, huh?!) 3. As my mom was a high risks fall patient, they failed to properly prepare her room/bed. The outcome, contusions on her head, arms and hip. I could go on!! In closing, besides the high amount of money being paid to this place, the care needs revamped. Please don't be fooled by the manicured grounds and pretty buildings! It the people who "work" there caring for your loved ones!! Hope they don't have to count on this place for nursing care!!!(Negative 5 *s!)

My mother is at Stella Maris in Lutherville-Timonium. It's pretty, clean, and inviting. Her room is spacious. The staff is wonderful. Right now, there are not a lot of activities because of COVID, but they had somebody come and play the guitar. They're just getting back to an activity schedule. The food is fine, and the dining area is clean. They have a beauty salon and a small chapel.
