I was a patient for about three weeks. I found the facility to be clean and uncluttered. The Physical and Occupational Therapists were very good and made sure that I was doing my exercises correctly. They are very professional as are the rest of the staff. I found everyone to be very friendly and caring. I received my medications on time without fail and always with a smile. I felt like I was a family member. The food was excellent. I can't emphasis enough how friendly everyone was. If I had any concerns, it was taken care of immediately. I would highly recommend Manor Care Potomac for your rehabilitation needs.

My grandmother has called crying several times because no one has given her her medication for HOURS and when she presses the call button NO ONE bothers to answer. When we have tried to call to discuss these issues, we either never get an answer or when we do get an answer, the nurse gets an attitude and speaks to us very inappropriately. I am in healthcare and this is the absolute worst place I have ever encountered. If you can avoid it, don't send your loved ones here.

My sister’s experience here has been terrible. Room is tiny, staff is uncaring, PT is random. She had someone else’s clothes on as hers “do not come back from the laundry.” No one called her by name or asked how she was doing - she was referred to by bed #. I had to go out to hallway and nurse’s station to get her the help she needed. Everyone pointed to someone else as their responsibility. Signaling for help by buzzer at bedside resulted in someone showing up an hour or two later. Wheelchair with no foot supports and no one could find any. Disgraceful.

My mother arrival started in November 2019. She has had three urine infections from November to May 2020. Also, the victim of the Coronavirus. Her quarantine was three weeks. On the day of her doctor visit, my mother was transported by the transportation van without a mask. Later that day, the hospital gave the coronavirus test and the test came back positive. My sister and I had to be tested because of the positive result

I had short term recovery at Manorcare Health Services Potomac and it was good. I had physical and occupational therapy. It's kind of an interesting place because there are a lot of foreign workers there from different countries, but they're all well-mannered, will take care of you, come by and check on you once in a while, and take your bloodwork. The place is very nice and well-maintained. Overall the staff is good.

The staff is horrible my dad only been there one week, and the staff does not give medicine one time or on a schedule they are very hands off. The facility is nice but the staff is horrible!

Disorganized mess. My father was here for 5 weeks, and they couldn't even give him a one hour notice of when his physical therapy was going to be each day so that he could take pain meds before therapy. He was in needless pain so much of the time. Pain med dosing is haphazard, food service is frequently incorrect, staff is rude and unhelpful for the most part. A very few friendly exceptions. Would never consider this place again, nor would I recommend it to anyone for any reason.

Manor Care has a very good reputation. The staff was okay. However, I wasn't too comfortable with them. I was a little concerned with the absenteeism of their workers. They slipped their schedules from time to time.

I chose Manor Care because of its location and the rehab facilities. About the rooms, I wouldn't say it's spacious but its comfortable. I haven't tried the food there as my father hasn't moved in yet. Our other relatives are still deciding if they should go for Manor Care or look for some other facilities.
