This place is the worst , I was there a little over a week and hated every day that I woke up realizing I was still there.theres not enough space to write all my dislikes for this place.food,conditions of the room, staff, lack of knowledge by those who are there to take care of you. Not a place for love one's

Hyattsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center was terrible. The staff members were decent, but the facility was like a dump. I wouldn't leave my dog there. They're not able to manage the patients. They're stuck in a room, and they are bedbound. My husband went in there from a hospital visit. They sent him there, and I took him out immediately. He was checked in, but when I got there and saw what it was like, I checked him out immediately. He stayed for only 24 hours.

This is the absolute worst place for people who are in their most vulnerable state. The staff are untrained and uncaring. The place is filthy and smells of urine the moment you get off the elevator on the bottom floor. Once I found wipes full of poop under my father’s sheet and up against him. There was also trash in his bed. They don’t bathe patients or even feed them on schedule. Very poor quality of care. My father was given food that had expired 3 years ago.
