We have found a place and it's called La Casa LLC. They've been very attentive. They've taken good care of my brother. It's unfortunate that when he arrived there, he was in the late stages of his illness, but they have done the best that they can to make him comfortable. The staff are very pleasant and very attentive. The rooms are adequate. The community layout is basic. It's not elaborate, but it works. The activities, if any, are minimal. Most of the residents are in advanced stages of dementia of one sort or another.

My mother has moved into La Casa Assisted Living Alzheimer's and Dementia Care. It's small, cozy, intimate, and clean, and it has an excellent staff-to-patient ratio. It's a home with multiple bedrooms, a dining room, a kitchen, a laundry room, an internal yard, an outside yard if patients want to sit outside, and a great sitting room. Rooms can be private, but they're pretty much shared. Most of the people who are in the home have dementia or start with dementia and that's what mom is there for. It has 20 residents.
