Picture Cindy Wheeler is a compassionate and dedicated advocate. She has over 12 years of advocacy experience, specializing in the mental health and educational needs of children, and the needs of senior adults with dementia, including Alzheimer's disease. She has an Associate in Arts degree from Anne Arundel Community College with a major in Gerontology. She also earned a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from AACC and completed several courses at Grand Canyon University to meet the requirements for Addiction Counseling. She was the Program Director for a secured memory-care unit and has many continuing education credits in dementia and challenging behaviors. Having a true heart for the struggles of others, her current focus and passion is to bring joy and laughter into the lives of those living with dementia, and their loved ones. Her approach combines a variety of individualized activities with a warm, loving touch.
