Brookdale Quincy Bay is a nice place, but I'm a little bit younger for that facility. It was nice. People were friendly. It was very nice and clean. The rooms were very nice. They're brand new and some of them are very nice. It was very spacious. The washers and dryers in the apartments are brand new. The layout was very nice, and it was decorated nicely. If you want to purchase some furniture, it was optional, and everything was nice and quiet. It looked safe to me. I wish I can afford it, and I would love to live there. The staff who gave me the tour was very nice and very pleasant. They showed me where they play, and they have parties. They have restaurants. There was quite a bit of other activities around there for people to do. They showed me outside. They have a lot of places for people to walk around. If you have a dog, it's a nice place to work your dog around. However, that wasn't a place for me. Everybody there was way older than me. The staff who toured me around was very nice.

The tour at Brookdale Quincy Bay was friendly and informative. They have knowledgeable staff. Appliances are included in the rooms. They have a stove, a sink, and a small refrigerator. They have outdoor spaces.

Brookdale Quincy Bay was very nice, but the one-bedroom apartment was small and I couldn't afford the two-bedroom. The people were very nice. The amenities and things looked really good. They had a pool table, poker games, and things that I liked, but I found that the apartment was boxy and small. I'm not claustrophobic, but I felt a little bit boxed in, in the apartment, and there was no furniture in there. I could imagine if you put a piece of furniture and a table in there, I would feel sort of boxed in. The staff during the tour was nice, very friendly and accommodating. I didn't get any food. In the end, they gave me a cup with a pen and some chocolates inside. I didn't see anything wrong. Everything seemed good. They showed me the dining room. Parking was excellent. You could also rent a parking space, but if I moved in there, I wouldn't need one. It was huge parking in the back and the entrance door was right there in the back of the building, so that was excellent. There was a big space outdoors. Each apartment had a small balcony, which was good. The eighth floor had the best room for me. It had nice closet space, but I don't like heights. I couldn't live on the eighth floor. I don't think they had a microwave, but they had a kitchen and a dishwasher.

We toured Brookdale Quincy Bay. The person that gave us a tour was very nice and helpful, but she was not quite able to answer all my questions since she was new. She said she has only been there for a little while. Some of the questions I had asked, I had to have someone return my call that was there with more experience, but the new person was very nice. She interacted with my dad, so it made my dad feel comfortable. The place is eight-stories, so they have an elevator. The person gave me a list of activities and the activities seemed very extensive. There are activities going on every day. The place was neat and clean, but it needed a little updating. I like the fact that all the independent rooms, except for the studios, all have balconies, which is very nice. It has free parking for any of the residents that need it. They have a game room that has a pool table, and they have another room where the residents go to watch TV or movies. Of course, they have their cafeteria for all residents to eat in. The best part that impressed me was that each room has a button that all the residents have to press between 8:00 and 10:00 to let the staff know that they're all fine, which I thought was very nice.

I went to see Brookdale Quincy Bay, and I was not happy with it. It just was a little bit too old fashioned. I looked at the independent living. The gentleman who assisted me was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I tried their food and it was very, very good. They had a computer room, a library, and things like that. It's in a very, very busy place traffic-wise, and getting in and out was difficult. I didn't find it delightful at all.

We are in the process of moving my dad into Brookdale Quincy Bay. I was able to tour it, and I think it is a decent community. They have a free meal every day, and there is a part of the building itself where they are dealing with all kinds of people's crisis, issues, and difficulties. They have good security over there. They take everybody's temperature, and make sure everybody is checked in properly. It is not just a go in and out place. Somebody is at the front desk and taking care of those residents in a wheelchair, and they really helped them. They are warm people. They also have a library and a nice dining area. Everybody who lives there was vaccinated because they had the medical people come in to give vaccinations, so I think that's better than some other places. I think it is a good facility.

My mother was in Brookdale Quincy Bay. It was wonderful until COVID. The staff was excellent. She was in a one-bedroom for a while and moved to a studio. It was fine and was just what she needed. Overall, it was well run even during COVID. The staff was attentive and friendly. They have activities, and she was happy there until she had to be confined in her room like everybody else. She was there for seven years. Considering that she's fussy, she managed with the food. Sometimes she liked the food, and sometimes she didn't. The activities were wonderful when she first went there. They had everything from parties every Friday afternoon, to dances for different occasions, to exercise programs and creative arts -- things that she's not been able to do for a while because of COVID. It's a big place, and what they try to do is check you when you come through the door on holidays and visits. They try to do whatever they can because they can't really mingle yet. It's a big, ordinary building -- nothing special. It's like a giant building with nothing really impressive about it.

My mom moved into Brookdale Quincy Bay. She picked it because she just thought everybody was really nice there. I thought the staff were all nice. They have all been there for a really long time, which was nice. Her apartment is cute, and she likes it. It is little, but it has everything she needs. The facility is clean, and everybody seems very happy. Everything is very easily accessible. It is near a lot of things, and that is really nice -- it is not in the middle of nowhere. You can walk across the street and get coffee, and it is within walking distance of a supermarket. It is in close proximity to a lot of stores that people would go to. I would not want to live there, but she likes it. I was surprised she likes it. I only have contact with two people; one I really liked, and one left something to be desired. Overall, I think the staff are great. I think the sales guy isn't great. My mom thinks the food is good.

Brookdale Quincy Bay was pretty amazing. The staff was amazing. The residents seemed very active. The rooms were really nice. They had a nice dining room, and the meal was great. It was just too far from Foxboro where my brother lives. It's more of a city setting. They seem to get people out to go to different activities. I like the fact that they're involved in the community. They're tightly knit into the community there. It's an older place, but it was in good shape.

Brookdale Quincy Bay is working out fine. We did a virtual tour. We saw the assisted living and independent living facilities. They haven't had a lot going on because of the virus, but there definitely are activities. The staff is very pleasant. My friend hasn't complained about the food. The facility is very clean and very nice. The rent is high, but you're getting all the utilities and one meal a day, so it's not bad. All the dining is done in the rooms. The rooms are very clean.

My mother in-law is in Independent Living at Brookdale Quincy Bay. She is very happy and has a nice one bedroom apartment. Phyllis, Kim and the staff have done a wonderful job in keeping everyone safe during the Covid pandemic. We feel so lucky that our loved one is a resident there.

Brookdale Quincy Bay was lovely. I went to both their independent and assisted living facilities. The staff member was very nice and very helpful. The rooms were great. My parents just needed more care. It's great if your loved ones are able to do activities. It was a very open and friendly place. There were a bunch of people playing cards when I visited.

I found Brookdale Quincy Bay for my mother, and she's there for 6 weeks now. She started in assisted living, then pretty quickly went to independent, and it's been good. My mother's enjoying the staff, and finding people to be friendly and helpful. Her room is very nice, she's there for respite, so it's fully furnished, and completely adequate. They have tons of activities. She has gone to yoga, fitness, and bible study class. They've got everything under the sun, but she hasn't done too much else yet. It's very good for the price.

I liked Brookdale Quincy Bay very much, but it was kind of large for me. The people were very pleasant and it's a really nice place, but it was bigger than I thought it was going to be. They have an exercise room, a dining area, and they have places where you can sit out. It's a very tall building, about eight stories, so it's too overwhelming for me. They provide the food, and you can come when they already have the food for you.

I'm living at Brookdale Quincy Bay. It's OK, they clean every other week, and the staff is very nice. The price is reasonable, the food is adequate, and breakfast is probably the best meal. They have themed dinners which are nice, like they did St. Patrick's Day. The activities are good, I go to music shows at least twice a week, and I get a little bit of exercise. It's adequate that way.

Brookdale Quincy Bay is affordable and has a really diverse population in terms of the people living there as well as the staff. It's close to shopping, church, and other conveniences, so she would be able to live more independently. They also had transportation for her should she need it. It's independent but allows her to have assisted living built around should she come to need it, and she wouldn't have to move to another setting, which is very different from what everybody else offers.

Our visit with Brookdale Quincy Bay was positive. I thought the staff was professional, friendly, and understood people's needs. Everything I asked them, they answered. They were kind and I could not ask for them to be any nicer. The place was clean. The food was great.

We just moved my Mom into River Bay Club after having her live with us for a year, she loves it and is getting her independence back and loves it. I felt so guilty having her leave. She is living in a shared apartment and has a wonderful roommate. She loves going down to the dining room and talking with people. She really is happy and loves having her independence. I never realized how much she was depending on us, and she really only had us to talk to. I would tell anyone who feels guilty about putting their loved one into independent or assisted living, it may just be the best thing in the world for them. It was for my Mom.

I visited River Bay Club. It was a high rise facility, which was very nice, spotless and nicely furnished. The staff was also very nice and competent. They had very nicely layout rooms with air-conditioning and heating which seemed very good. I saw the menu, it look fantastic and the meals were great. They had physical therapy, a gymnasium, and all of those benefits of retired living that should be there. They had all the levels of care. But they were expensive.

Overall, River Bay Club in Quincy was a great place for assisted living, and I would recommend it for anyone and any of their family members, should they need the assistance. First of all, the place is beautiful. There is a beautiful view from the windows and the place is very well furnished. From what I hear, the food is wonderful, and it claims to be healthy, especially for those who are elderly. In addition to all of this, there are a lot of ways the River Bay Club tries to form a community with all of its people. For one, there are many events that attempt to get the residents together, and there is a common room where folks can just "hang out." Every resident is well taken care of, and many services are carried out, including the cleaning of linens. Overall, River Bay Club is a wonderful place and I would live there at any time, not just if I needed assistance!
