My mother has been a resident since 2011. Because of family disagreements mom isn’t at home. This place is so bad. Some staff are good but nurses are terrible. Mom had mold growing on her feet. Dirty underwear. Over medicated Etc. Please do not put loved ones in here

i was a patient at this facility following hip replacement surgery. My experience, except for the physical attributes of the room itself, was pretty bad. The staff is virtually untrained and unhelpful. Not one person ever tried to straighten or change my bed the entire time I was there. There were never towels in the bathroom....I had to ask for them when I needed them, and someone took them away and did nor replace them each time. The food is inedible, low quality, out of cans, and just a wee step above garbage. When I arrived on a stretcher by ambulance on a weekend, the floor nurse greeted me in the hallway/dining area with, "Who are you?" She had no record of my impending arrival, no pharmacy orders, and my room wasn't ready. The ambulance guys dumped me in a bed and left, and I waited a half hour for someone to come into my room to tell me anything. I could not navigate on my own, and was frequently stranded in the room without access to a buzzer. Nursing staff is very variable, with one in particular a self imposed pain medication cop who made you wait until she was convinced you were in agony before dispensing prescribed pain meds.....and even then, she made you wait another 1/2 hour before getting around to you. The docs and hospital staff said, "Stay ahead of the pain." Not possible when this nurse was on duty. Some of the PT and OT staff are good and helpful, but other than those few people, the place is useless to gry to recover and fehab. Go someplace else!

I came to this facility after a hip replacement and was extremely disappointed in the care. I would never recommend it to anyone. If you need assistance you wait forever for one of the aids to respond. I am not a fussy eater but the food was the worst institutional food I have ever eaten. The physical therapy, which was the main reason I went there was very mediocre. I am receiving much better PT at home. I had originally planned to stay a week but after two days I couldn't wait to leave this place...and did. Find a better place if you are recovering from joint surgery!!

I would never, EVER recommend this sorry excuse of a "rehabilitation" center to anyone. My grandmother went here for rehabilitation due to a knee replacement surgery. She went in with all staff knowing she had a heart condition. Not only did they not monitor her heart, her health or her concerns, none of them ever spoke English! The only thing that this place has going for them was that it's a beautiful property but as far as everything else, ugliest place I have ever seen. Really shows you the horrors that really happen in rehabs/nursing homes.
