This building is pretty and well kept. The nurses aides work really hard and are kind to the patients.

Poor response from nurses/ staff. When we saw he wasn’t getting any better in there. We brought him back to mass general on our own. Turns out he had a very bad infection that he likely got in there . Rooms were very run down

Saugus care and rehabilitation center formely known as Harboside Northshore and rehab is located in Saugus, MA. Seniors who chose to stay in Saugus care should feels secure because the town has an above average safety rating. I am not employed by the facility but I do visit regularly. Saugus rehab provides alzheimers care and other nursing services. Seniors with Alzheimers are usually taken care of in the second floor of the facility. The Alzheimer's unit has a tight security to prevent seniors from wandering. Staff is available 24 hours to take care of residents. Saugus care is under staffed especially during evenings and overnights. The facility feels more like an institution as there are no close relationships between staff and residents. Meals are served from room to room. The meals seem well balanced. I would recommend this facility to seniors with Alzheimer's.
