My parents moved into Stafford Hill. It is really nice and lovely. The room was what she was looking for. It is small and not really large; it is kind of intimate and it seems quiet. I like the staff and the food seems pretty delicious. And the location is perfect for me. The staff is young, energetic, and attentive. The rooms are beautiful. They have gorgeous floors, clean, with nice paint. They have beautiful windows with great views. They have wide doors, heavy closet doors, big closets, and a little kitchenette; it is very nice. I know they have a paint room where they can learn how to paint. She had to go in and be quarantined for 14 days so she's just now allowed to roam about and check out the stuff. It is very expensive, but I took it because there was a lot of value there.

My uncle moved into Stafford Hill two weeks ago. It is a beautiful community. Everyone is very nice and very helpful. It is an adjustment going into a community like that and not going home, but my uncle was very excited to go there. He likes it. I've asked him many times how he feels about it, and he always says, "So far, so good." He likes the food and the people. My uncle has a very nice, good-sized apartment with his own kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. The location for him is really excellent because it is a very short walk to the dining room and activities. We are very happy. Anyone that's looking for a community, I would definitely recommend Stafford Hill.

We decided on Stafford Hill because of the services that they offered. They had classes and activities like music, bingo, brain activity, and fitness things. They had a lovely dining room facility and a comprehensive program. They had an outdoor cookout area where the brought people out at least once a week and a bus that could take the people to their doctors' appointments. They also had a wellness center in the facility.

My whole impression of Stafford Hill was very positive. It was clean, neat, andn friendly, and it looked like a possibility, but I thought the prices were high for me. The activities were scheduled on a daily basis.

The place is nicely decorated, and feels homey. The staff I've met seem very nice. We did have a concern, when my elderly aunt had a fall in her unit, when an aid forget to put the break on her wheelchair. My aunt has had several very serious breaks in one leg; so her falling again was a big deal. Lucky, she was relatively ok. A staff member who checked in on my aunt while I was there told her to remember to remind the aid to lock the chair. My aunt is 90 years old, almost deaf, with dementia. The aid was the one who needed reminding in this case.. My aunt is quite unhappy with the food. She was in another facility in Duxbury, where it was much better. For the money she pays, the meals should be good. A big plus is the activities. In addition to painting classes and bingo, they have live entertainment, I believe every Tuesday. It is always excellent, with some of singers having performed on Broadway.

Right now, my mother lives in Stafford Hill. She has a 1-bedroom with a very nice living room, kitchen, and a little dining area. They do wonderful activities with them like art classes and sewing. They take them out and plan trips and different things for them. She likes the food. They’re very good at catering to them.

We lived in the next town from Stafford Hill, so I was familiar with the place. They had 90 or less residents. If the residents required additional services down the line, it was not added to the price but was already included in the initial rate. We liked it best because of the room situation. We were impressed with the lay-out of the room. The shared room had their own private bedroom and bathroom. The dining room was very nice and their food looked really well. They were known for all their homemade desserts. They did not use frozen food, they only used fresh food. They had different activities. My father-in-law played bridge and they had a bridge group. They had music sing-alongs, plays and musicals. And the residents got involved in that as well. It just seemed like a very warm place.

I liked Stafford Hill because it's a little homier even though it's a little more commercial. The staff was very professional. I was very impressed with that facility.

My grandmother is a resident a Stafford Hil nursing home. She has been with them for almost a year now, at first I was very pleased with the service, always sweet cna's and there seemed to be a lot of activities available. With staff changes I have noticed that her cna's are neglectful, and not so friendly anymore. My gram had urinated herself and had been waiting for help to change for over an hour the last time I was there. I have had three similar complaints in. Hopefully they will be taken seriously.

This is an assisted living facility that manages to maintain a "˜home-style' coziness that you do not usually find in large community style residences. We have visited one of our neighbors who recently moved to Stafford Hill and were quite pleased with the comfortable, clean surroundings. The staff members we have come in contact with really care about all of the residents and they know them by name. Considering the many people that live here, this fact alone is pretty impressive. Mobility is a problem for this gentleman and the personalized assistance at Stafford Hill has given him back his independence. His apartment is maintenance free and even housekeeping duties are taken care of by members of the staff. On days that he is feeling better he is able to tackle more of his own personal care needs but he still knows that he can call for assistance if it is necessary. The property is very well maintained, but it is the friendly attitude of the staff that has made such a positive impression in my mind. I admire their diligence, care, patience and kind attitude more than I can say.
