My mom is in this facility for over a year now and when I call or face-time with my sister. I can see how happy and healthy she is! My sister tells me that the staff is unbelievably awesome. I live in the south so I can only depend on my sister. My sister has very high standards so I know my mom is home:)

The staff there was excellent. Prior to that, my mother has been in a nursing home that I did not like, I took her out of there, and then we were very happy. As far as nursing homes go, she was getting pretty good care and very good rehab at Golden Livingcenter. The rooms were pleasant and clean. The food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. There was a dining room upstairs and another one downstairs, and they were pleasant enough, but they could be better. They had some good activity directors. They would go out once a week, and they had crafts; it was very good. And their rehabilitation department was excellent. They were secure at night. After a certain hour, you had to be buzzed in.

Stay far away from this place. The staff is unpleasant. The care is so-so at best. The staff keeps the common areas clean, but isn't always so good about cleaning the patients' rooms. Do yourself a favor & take your loved one somewhere the nurses & staff actually care about their patients. I will be moving dad next week.
