My mom became a resident at Duxbury House back at the end of June 2021. Her memory loss was causing her a lot of anxiety. Since coming to Duxbury House she is calmer and the routine the staff has created keeps her engaged and happy. I enjoy coming and participating in exercise class along with the many games and cultural activities they plan for the residents. Knowing my mom is in a safe environment with caring staff gives me peace.

The Duxbury House has been a godsend for my parents and our family. They moved here from the Village at Duxbury when it first opened; they needed the extra help, especially with the ongoing Covid crisis. The facility itself is beautiful, with bright, airy and open common and private spaces, good food, and lots of engaging daily activities. Most importantly, the staff have been exceptional, going above and beyond in terms of care for my parents and consideration towards us as a family. They provide more than the necessary physical care; they have made real, heartfelt emotional connections with my folks and with us. It has been such a relief knowing that our parents are always safe and well-cared for.
