My mother was there for several years before she died. Primary cause of death was listed as gangrene of the feet. The severity of her wounds was not noticed until hospice was brought in.

Rooms are nice, older but clean. Staff while busy, have always taken the time to talk to us. Love, Love the PT team. They did a great job with my mom. Very dedicated to getting her up and moving. Was in the building during lunch and they had a dining hall with very interactive staff. Food appeared good; mom ate everything. Recommend this place.

I have been a patient for over two months and can’t say enough about the care they provide. They have a new cook who is wonderful and the food is great. I’ve already decided that if and when the time comes I would chose this nursing home. I love all the aids and nurses they treat you with respect. I give the place a thumbs up

On Feb 18th she was transferred to the Westford House ( 3 Park Drive in Westford Ma.) because she was on a waiting list for Mass Health, Westford House was the 1st open bed available and Saints Hospital transferred her. She was sent there without my family even being able to visit or approve of the facility. April 2nd she passed away, in 43 days she went from walking and talking to bed ridden unable to eat and on Morphine. I understand she had Alzheimer's . No explanation from anyone with medical experience at the Westford House as to what caused the drastic turn in her condition. The cause of death reported was failure to thrive.......

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our 80 year old Mother was taken to the Westford House from the hospital with the intent, of gaining her strength back through Physical Therapy after a bout with the flu .....In less than 48 hrs she was 1000 times worse then when she arrived.....She was not given the DAILY ROUTINE meds she required, as authorized by her Dr....Her Dr. also added another med for her at 9:00 am this morning..This was not given to her either......THEY FORGOT...She was NOT given her routine nebulizer treatments as required, AGAIN, THEY FORGOT....As a result of what had occurred, the Director and the Head of Nursing were immediately met with. They were apologetic yet, NOTHING IMPROVED as a result of this meeting.....She still, was NOT PROVIDED her necessary meds.....Due to their NEGLECT, she is now in a weakened state and on OXYGEN, something she was not on, before her arrival to this facility.......At this very moment, she is being transported to the Emergency Room....by AMBULANCE...With a resting Oxygen level of 88 which was 95 prior to her arrival here...:-( The LACK OF TREATMENT and NEGLECT she received, is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!! PLEASE BEWARE and STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My father was in the hospital for what was supposed to be a 5 day stay for heart surgery. Almost 60 days later and still with some complications, he transferred to Westford House. Westford House was very responsive to my fathers needs. The staff was pretty great, attentive, friendly and genuinely wanted to help my father. The Dr seemed on top of things and my medications (IV) were always attended to when needed. My fathers long stay caused some depression and the nurses took the time to keep his spirits up and ensure his mental state was better because they cared enough to listen. The facility was very clean. The food was not the greatest but not the worst either. My mother and I and my father are very pleased with the care he received there. I wanted to make sure others had this feedback because I know how difficult it was for us to have him go to a facility we knew nothing about. I would highly recommend Westford House to anyone in need of rehab care. I can't speak for the nursing home side but from what I saw, everyone was well taken care of. These nurses are good, caring people and I am very thankful.

When visiting relatives in an assisted facility you're hyper aware of the surroundings and simultaneously dazed. I remember the floors were very clean, and there was a strong smell of disinfectant. My relatives stayed in rooms shared with at least one roommate. The staff was always friendly but sometimes hard to find when my relatives (and admittedly, my grandma in particular is a demanding person) needed something. We liked that they gave us plenty of storage to put our relatives' things. Before my great aunt was moved into hospice care, she had a very disruptive roommate -- he kept repeating the same phrases over and over again very loudly. Obviously, not his fault, but I remember wishing that the staff had been more attentive to how his shouts and borderline threats impacted my aunt on the other side of the curtain. When my relatives stayed there for onsite physical therapy, they always smiled and said that their therapists were great and helpful -- which is the most important thing!

I spent 10 days in Westford House, Massachusetts after serious back surgery. I arrived into Westford house barely able to walk and needed assistance getting up, going to the bathroom, and other very basic needs. The Westford House staff was friendly and helpful and gave me as much attention as I needed. They were always reasonably quick to answer the call button. Nurses, orderly, and adminisration staff were helpful and attentive. Most rooms are shared by two people, with a curtain separating the beds. My first roommate had very bad diarrear and needed to be taken to the bathroom every 30 minutes. I was very impressed how patient and friendly the staff was with her. For me this was a problem because this woke me up through out the night. After two days I asked the staff to move me to another room and they were able to accommodate my request with the usual friendly and helpful attitude. I was extremely happy in the second room. The facilities are comfortable, even though some areas show some age. I particularly enjoyed the LCD TVs set-up as the TVs are on a huge arm, that could be positioned anywhere in your half of the room. As I got better and spend less time in bed, I was able to move the TV in various positions and it gave me a lot of flexibility. Overall, I got an excellent level of care in Westford house. Nursing staff, cafeteria, physical therapy - all aspects of care were very good.
