I am highly impressed with the care my mother receives at the Ross Worthen Memory Care Unit at Carleton Willard skilled nursing facility. The staff are invested in their work and are so caring. They treat my mother with respect and dignity. The rooms & premises are well kept. The staff follow Covid-19 guidelines carefully and do all they can to keep the residents safe. The occupational/recreational team creatively offer a wide range of innovative group activities. The leadership including program manager and nurse manager are very involved, on site and promptly respond to patient needs and family questions.

The staff are very friendly to my grandma, as well as to us whenever we visit. They seem to always recognize us and know all about us. My grandma likes to be treated very well and we can see that she is thriving at Carleton-Willard Village. She is active in bingo, has many friends, and paints watercolors there. She even had the opportunity to have her artwork displayed, which she was very proud of. There are always activities and outings, and the facilities are clean and nice. There is a wonderful outdoor pond with koi fish and turtles. My grandma is from the south so she likes to be able to sit outside in the warmth during the summer. There is also a very nice restaurant there - perfect for visiting family and friends. She can get her hair and nails done at the beauty salon in the home, use the computer facilities, and have access to a piano. During Christmas time they do a wonderful job of decorating the place. I think my grandma loves it there and therefore we love it as well, to see her thrive and do so well!
