After my Full Hip Replacement I spent a very pleasant week at the facility. Administrator & her Staff were exceptional. Food was excellent. Nurses and their Aides were phenomenal. Social & Case Worker did a fine job. I would definitely use the Facility again should the need arise.

Wingate is not a 5-star place. They don't serve good meals and do serve the same thing, like chicken, all the time. They let him bring his own things in his room, like a TV and knick-knacks. The nurses are good to him, but the only problem is they mix the dementia people with the regular ones. They have different activities, but he doesn't participate, and he has therapy. They don't have private rooms.

Nice facility, inside and out. But...this place is poorly managed. Imagine beig bed ridden abd no one answers your call? Now imagine being cleared by your doctor to be released and then told by staff the doctor sai9d you can't? Ignoring, the need for help, being rude and lying to patients is unacceptable. The State needs to investigate this place,

We brought my father in law to this facility from another rehabilitation and nursing facility I was not happy with. Wingate exceeded my expectations with there extended therapy schedule, caring compassionate nursing staff. Boh physical therapy and the nurses aides took the time to show and train me on helping my father in law transfer, bathing, and walking. Nurses seemed knowledgeable and answered all my questions.

Spacious rooms kind friendly nursing and rehabilitation staff. We broughty mother inlaw there after the last nursing home told us she would NEVER WALK AGAIN! The rehabilitation staff got her walking in 4 weeks! We were amazed and so happy. They were pacient and persistent! One of the best facilities out there top notch!!!

When my father inlaw was having a stroke, the staff checked on their patients every 1/2 hour. They recognized the stroke signs and had a ambulance e there promotly. The doctor said he could give him this medication. To lessen the stroke affects to have a speedy recovery from the stroke that could only be given during the early stages of having the stroke. The staff there acted promptly and saved my father inlaw.

Do not go here. My grandfather was a patient, the head nurse argued with me that he is at the end of his life and going to die. I begged her to call an ambulance, she declined. I asked to speak to the doctor, she told me the doctor is not available at 5pm on Friday nights. This is also not true. The doctor did call and finally he was transported to the hospital, extremely dehydrated and he also had an infection, due to poor care. DO NOT LET ANYONE GO!! Not even your dog!

This is the worse place to send a loved one. Management of this facility should be terminated immediately. It all starts at the top. Missed meals, missed meds, no one answering call buttons. Wrong meds given with no MD orders. This place should be shut down. DO NOT GO HERE

My Grandfather has been to this facility twice now. Each time, he felt as if he was brought to a grand hotel. Although he was there for rehab stays, the involvement that was offered between the tremendous amount of activities, main dining room services, and of course the rehab really kept him engaged and entertained throughout his stays. They patched my grandfather back together quite nicely and greeted him with smiles during every interaction. I would highly recommend Wingate Andover to any and all people who are looking for rehab/nursing home services.

Do not be fooled by the appearance of this bright clean modern facility. The staff is terrible, the care is by far the worst I've ever seen. The man in charge of the place doesn't do anything. He's filled with empty promises. The dinner menu you see is SO FAKE! The food is disgusting! To the point that my father would rather starve! I think they would actually let him starve. This place needs to be investigated and shut down!! Please stay away!
