I like the rooms at Cabot Park Village. But they weren't as big as the other places I visited, and it's a little bit more expensive. The staff seemed very nice. I got to talk with the person who took me around, and the general manager also came over to talk. They're pet friendly. Even though I don't have pets, I think that is nice to have other people's pets around. The residents seemed very sharp. The other place had religious services provided, but they did Jewish religious services online, but at Cabot Park they would have them live, so I thought that was nice.
I was shown some people taking exercise class. They were doing chair yoga. They looked very active and fit, and it looked good. Going out, they provide transportation. They would take them to first-run movies, so I thought that was neat as one of their activities. Their calendar also looked pretty good. As far as amenities are concerned, it was on par with the other places I toured, but it was more expensive, even though there wasn't a buy-in. The building itself was very nice and it's a very nice environment. One thing I really liked was the short walk to a whole shopping/restaurant area. It's near Newton Center, which was nice. They also had a very nice walking trail around the facility.

I had an excellent impression of Cabot Park Village. I was accommodated very well during the visit. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. They tried to be very nice to me, but I didn't think it was as new and charming as the one I chose. The food was very good, and they were very accommodating to me when they served me the meals. It felt homey.

Our visit to Cabot Park Village was great and educational, but I think they're overpriced. The rooms were clean, neat, certainly functional, and up to date. They do shopping, personalized transportation services, they bring in entertainment, and they have various dining menus. You get two meals a day and with additional charges you can get laundry services. They also clean your apartment once a week. The staff member who showed me around was very good and educational.

Cabot Park Village is too expensive for us, but the location, food, and grounds are good. This facility has a lot going for it, but we couldn’t afford it.

Cabot Park Village was not too big. It did not feel overly institutional. It was very homey. The staff was very helpful. They talked with us for a long time and answered all our questions. The apartments looked just like regular apartments, but I liked that they were a little bigger. The food was good. They had all kinds of outings, and they also had people come in to do lectures. There were a lot of common areas for people to sit around and chat.

Cabot Park Village is something like $4000 a month for one-bedroom unit. They do have a pool that's big enough to do laps in. They have a singing group. They do have personal trainers and that's included as part of your monthly fee. Some housekeeping is included as well.
He was able to show me a one-bedroom and it was a very nice looking place. The kitchen wasn't large, but it was well organized. The dining area looked nice. I believe they have an elevator on either end of the building so people who have walkers do not have any trouble getting up and down. I think the building is two floors high.
The staff was very nice. I can't drive anymore so they sent their van to pick me up. As I was getting a tour of the place, there were residents who kept coming up and saying that this is a great place.

Cabot Park Village was not a buy-in, but rather a rental, and their fee was beyond our budget. I like its location, though, and the staff was very nice.

Cabot Park is in the same neighborhood that we lived in. It's also in just one building which is relatively small, about 80 to 100 people living there. The pharmacy, restaurants, supermarket, the bank and post office are within walking distance. The rooms are not spacious but we lived in a much larger house so we had to downsize quite a bit coming here. We have two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a nice kitchen and a nice living room which is quite spacious with a hallway. There is a washer and dryer, too. The people working there are very helpful and very informative, very supportive, warm, friendly, smiling and very good.
